Indo-Pak Tensions Escalate Could War Be Imminent?

Pakistan carried out a dastardly terrorist attack in Kashmir's pahalgam on 22nd April,2025. More than 26 innocent Indians were killed in the attack. As everyone anticipated a retribution from India, India carried out precision strikes on terrorist bases in Pakistan in the intervening night of 6th and 7th May. Pakistan has since then escalated their attacks and India and Pakistan have been engaged in a war like situation. While the situation is tense, the question remains whether there will be a full blown war and if yes what will be the outcome.

Current Scenario :

Astrologically, geopolitical tensions emerge when malefic planets gain strength to do more harm and benefics lose their strength to do good.

Mars : Mars is the karaka of war and aggression. A weak Mars naturally signifies aggression, accidents and wars. Mars transited to Cancer(Karka) in October-2024 and barring a brief period of retrogression in Gemini(Mithun Rashi) has been in Cancer since then. Cancer is the debilitation sign of Mars where fallen Mars gains strength to carry out extensive damages and creates war like situation. It may have been noticed that events like aircraft crashes, earthquakes and individual level crimes have increased since October 2024. Mars moves out of debilitation on June 7th,2025. Till the time, peace is unlikely to prevail.

Saturn : Saturn is the karaka of Justice and peace. A strong Saturn controls the weak and fallen Mars in Cancer. On 29th March, 2025, Saturn transited from its moolatrikona sign Aquarus to Pisces. Pisces is a watery sign owned by Jupiter. Jupiter is Saturn's natural enemy. Saturn is nearing its sign of debilitation , Aries rendering Saturn weak and malefic. Saturn's transit to Pisces has exposed the scenario to a war-like situation.

Jupiter: Jupiter is the most benelovent and malefic planet. Strength of Jupiter and its positive influence alone removes all evils in any horoscope be it an individual or world horoscopes. Jupiter is currently in Taurus and commencing its move to Gemini. Planets move in different motions viz. Slow, or normal motion, fast or accelerated and opposite or retrograde. Jupiter has started its accelerated motion from 1st May,2025 and will transit to Gemini on 14th May,2025. Accelerated Jupiter becomes weak to produce any good allowing other negative forces to prevail and dominate. Historically, all major turmoils like World War, Mahabharat, Covid-19 have happened during the accelerated motion of Jupiter.

This current position of malefic Mars and Saturn and weak Jupiter is likely to put the world in a precarious situation. Untill movement of Mars out of its debilitation, a war like situation worldwide cannot be ruled out. In the event of such a scenario, the tensions are likely to prevail till 7th June.

India-Pakistan tensions

India as an entity was born on 15th August,1947 whereas Pakistan was born on 14th August,1947.

An analysis of the malefic influences on Panchak for both the countries reveal prevailing tensions and malefic influences on both the horoscopes.

However, Sun moves to Kritika nakshatra on 11th May and Mars moves to Ashlesha nakshatra on 12th May,2025. Sun moving to Kritika while reducing malefic vedha for India increases malefic vedha on Pakistan. Mars' transit to Ashlesha nakshatra increases malefic influence on Pakistan thwarting any hopes of any dominance in the current situation. In the navtara chakra in SBC, limited malefic aspects on malefic nakshtaras rule out any possibility of large scale war.

Conclusion : India is likely to retaliate stronger against Pakistan's aggressions and likely to reign over situation post 13th May. Full blown war with a major loss of life to India likely ruled out. However, the tensions are likely to continue till June 1st week post which peace may prevail.
